Depending on the ability of the pupils, you could help them to decide which verb each image represents – they could either prepare their answers first or attempt to do it as a spontaneous exercise. They have to tell the story of the images in the past, e.g. I stayed at home, I ate a sandwich, I did my homework, I went to sleep (there’s a mixture of avoir and etre verbs)
