Dear All!

The blog has arrived! This blog has the potential to be absolutely fabulously useful if all you wonderful people contribute to it and help it to flourish into a ‘can’t live without it’ part of your pgce lives. Ok, maybe that was slightly exaggerated, but you know what they say about enthusiasm and motivation and … 😉

Please reply to the email I’ve sent about ideas for categories, posts, titles, photos etc. Then I can set up user names and passwords for us all so everyone can post on to it – or if you think this should be done differently let me know! This is our blog for our use, I just wanted to get the ball rolling..

Social Events December

Friday 1st December - Wine Tasting at the French Society.

Saturday 9th December- Please come to 50 Ratcliffe Street from 8 onwards for mulled wine and mince pies. My flat mate and I are having a party.  15th December - Christmas lunch.  2pm at Pastiche.

Sunday 19th Nov – The Threepenny Opera – (German)at The Screen.

Friday 17th Nov – James Bond night at the City Screen – 9pm.  Meet in the bar for drinks from 8.

Saturday 25th November – Ice skating at the Eye in York from 6-7pm.  £7.95 each.  Followed by dinner in Wilde’s at 7.45.

Friday 27th - Hable con ella film - Spanish of course! It's this Friday in V/045 (where we have WSI on a Monday). 

Halloween – Ghost WalkThere is one starting at the top of the shambles at 7.30.  It could be followed by a trip to the Golden Fleece, the most haunted pub in York.  Come if you dare.
